Amazing! - 25th January 2014
We couldn't have asked for a nicer/helpful owner or a more comfortable chalet. My husband and I enjoyed our week and DIDN'T have one complaint. We booked a photo shoot with Polly and that was even amazing. We enjoyed our skiing and tobogganing, hiking, shopping and just lounging by the fire. If we were to come back to Courchevel again we will definitely be staying at Chalet Belle Vue again.
So Good we Keep Coming Back! - February 2014
This winter we stayed for the second time in a row at Chalet Belle Vue. Perfect as always, we also had an opportunity to meet the owners - a wonderful family that makes you feel so welcomed. The Chalet provides everything that you can for at a reasonable price. Skiing in this area is most likely one of the best in the world. What else to say, we will be back for sure.
'Second to None!' (July 2013)
W'e have just spent our second holiday at the Chalet Belle Vue in the beautiful village of St Bon, Courchevel. So this review will cover both trips.
New Years Eve 2012 - This was our first holiday in Courchevel and it didn't disappoint. Booking the holiday was simple and Gill & Mark were happy to answer any queries, organise groceries and arrange restaurant bookings in advance. Gill was on hand on our arrival to welcome us. Nothing was too much trouble and the house exceeded all expectations. If you are wanting S/C then this property has it all. We like our comforts away from home after a hard day on the slopes. Chalet Belle Vue has everything from fast broadband, SKY TV, fully equipped kitchen, big corner bath, separate shower room, lovely furnishings and an awesome log burner. Everything about the property exudes luxury. The property has fantastic views and is just a minute or so's walk from the ski bus pick up. I boarded back into the village down a nice cruise'y red run on a couple of days. Otherwise you can just use the Le Praz lift station to pick up the bus back down the mountain.
Summer July 6th to the 13th 2013 - We decided to try the area in the summer and without hesitation we booked back into Chalet Belle Vue. Again booking was simple and Gill and Mark were helpful as ever. We were blown away by the villages beauty on arrival. Everything was in bloom and the property really excelled with the balcony over looking the valley. We spent every breakfast and evening meal sat out on the balcony and we never got close to being bored with the views. There are some fantastic walks from the property up and down the mountain (For all levels of fitness). On a number of days we went down into the valley and spent the day in Bozel which has a fantastic lake that you can swim in. Other days we walked in the beautiful Vanoise National Park or rode some of the mountain bike trails. There is so much to do here in the summer and is fantastic place to bring the kids.
One other useful bit of info. The Black Pearl restaurant in St Bon is a must. They do the most fantastic pizza's and the prices are excellent. But you better book in advance... they also do take aways.
We have been doing winter sports for a number of years and the Chalet Belle Vue is by far the best place we have stayed, couple that with one of the most amazing ski areas in the world and you will have the perfect holiday. The property is perfect! So much so we have now booked our next winter trip there for the end of this year.
'Fantastic Family Ski Holiday' (February 2013)
We stayed at this chalet 9th to 16th February 2013, which was half term for us being from the South West of England. We are a family of 5 with 3 children aged 9, 7 and 5. Everything from booking the chalet to our arrival went really smoothly with nothing being too much trouble for the owners. They provided lots of helpful information and tips and helped with ski hire and lots more. Additionally they were on hand throughout our stay and only too pleased to assist with everything we needed, even getting a few items of shopping in for us! The chalet itself is beautiful and has been renovated and decorated to an extremely high standard. All of the fixtures and fittings were exactly as described with the kitchen being fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. We fully expected to go out most evenings to eat but after a good days skiing, once the woodburner was lit we found it impossible to leave and hence had a very relaxing holiday. The chalet was also spotlessly clean. I would have no hesitation in recommending this chalet indeed we have already reserved it again for next season and are very much looking forward to returning.

Dear Gill & Mark - What can I say, we've slept in on our last day & wake up reluctantly to pack. We have had THE best week of skiing EVER. We know we are very lucky. Mark said this has been the best place we could have picked. We managed to stay in a unique French village in a unique gorgeous chalet, skis brought/collected to the door, bus virtually at door with heaps of snow and hardly anyone on the mountain!! Thank you so much for your constant updates and concern, you really are a lucky find!

'Excellent - Great Chalet!'
Went to Courchevel in Jan 2012, staying in Chalet Bellevue. It's a beautiful Chalet, furbished to very high standards, and is everything we could have wanted for a holiday home in the mountains. It's very quiant and has a Hansel & Grettle feel to it, very warm & cosy, perfect for a days skiing. The owners were very helpful throughout the whole booking process & during our holiday, offering advice, hints & tips, on the area, restaurants, etc. We even had our ski hire taken care of in the chalet, thanks to the owners arrangement! Definatley recommend this chalet as a perfect place to visit, to explore the vast 3 Valleys ski area, and a perfect place to relax & unwind after a days skiing!

'Style and Luxury'
We have had an absolutely wonderful time. The Chalet has been wonderfully comfortable and warm, the facilities excellent and great to have proper cotton bed linen. In fact, if we hadn't got jobs to go back to we could easily squat here! As keen cooks we found the kitchen a delight with fantastic equipment. I hope the next residents enjoy it as much as we have, thank you for all your help and kindness - we will definitely be back.

'Luxury Chalet in a Great Ski Area' (Christmas 2012)
We, a family of four, with two teenage sons, have just returned from spending Christmas week at Chalet Bellevue. I would like to say what a fabulous week we had. The Chalet is truly a home from home, and is immaculately clean and extremely comfortable. It is the ideal place to spend an evening after a day on the slopes. The ski area is great also, with many different places to explore. I would highly recommend Chalet Bellevue. Thank you Gill and Mark for looking after us so well!

'Excellent Family Accommodation in the Three Valleys'
We had the great pleasure to stay in the Chalet Belle Vue last week, the chalet is very much home from home, with great trouble taken to ensure that the small details are not forgotten. Lovely soft towels and good quality bedlinen being some of those small touches that are often forgotten. We have skied as a couple for more than 25 years and as a family for the last 5 years or so and this is the best accommodation we have ever rented, my husband remarked that he felt completely at home here. The chalet is situated in Courchevel St Bon which is just a couple of kilometres from the piste, don't be put off, its in a lovely quiet location and the bus service is very frequent. The views from the master bedroom window are to die for, and the village is very traditional which is quite a change for a ski station. Would we go back? The answer from all 3 of us is a resounding yes!

Everything about this chalet was perfect, the owners were very helpful and recommended some stunning places to go - Lake Bozel is a must! Mark and Gill were happy to take a call or two while we there to help with directions. The view from the chalet is absolutely breathtaking. The chalet had everything we could possibly need and was beautifully presented. We have just re booked for next Summer and are trying to get a winter trip in as the ski ing there would be awesome

'Wish We Could Have Stayed Longer!'
Chalet Belle Vue provided everything we needed for our summer hiking base. Situated in a very quiet and charming village of Saint-Bon, Courchevel, you can walk to catch the free shuttle to the next Courchevel level of villages, or begin hiking from your doorstep. The views from the Master Bedroom are amazing and can also be enjoyed from the sunny terrace where we made a point to eat al fresco most evenings. The decor is very tasteful with a nice mix of luxury and local rustic charm. I traveled with my 6 year old daughter and 75+ parents. The spiral staircase was not a problem for any of them. Vanoise National Park was about 15-20 min drive to start Glacier Hike. Courchevel 1850's gondola was running. Waterfalls were beautiful to hike along. The owner, Gill, was extremely informative, helpful and attentive via emails and phone contact from pre booking to post. We would book again without hesitation.
